Humans, Guardians and Spirits?
Humans are exactly what the name says. Human. You can play a human of ANY AGE, but it's mostly children that believe. You may submit applications for canon humans such as Jamie and Cupcake, or create a human original character. Generally only children 'believe' in spirits, but a rare few adults can too. Your human can come from anywhere in the world, you don't have to just come from Burgess.
Spirits can only be seen if the person they are interacting with believes in them. If they are not believed in, then people walk right through them as if they were ghosts. But if they are believed in then the person see's them as solid and can talk too and touch said spirit. Pitch for example is a Spirit, for he's not a chosen Guardian, but is an immortal spirit who's human self died years ago. You are allowed to create canon spirits like Pitch, Nightlight, Mother Nature etc or you can create an original character spirit too. Remember that a spirit should originate from a fairytale or folklore of some kind.
Guardians are special spirits chosen by The Man In The Moon to help protect the values of childhood. Each one has a 'centre', which specifies what it is they guard. Guardians rely on the belief of children too exist, just like normal spirits, however unlike spirits they will fade out of existence if children stop believing in them. It should be noted that we do NOT accept Original Character's who are 'Guardians'. The only guardians are North, Tooth, Sandy, Bunny and Jack. The Man in the Moon very rarely picks a new guardian.
